TikTok
TikTok has launched a campaign around the concept of “It Starts On TikTok”, highlighting the plurality of content available on the platform and enabling anyone to start a new hobby. Emotional films based on 3 verticals, which then had to be transposed to social media without simply copying and pasting content unsuited to the platforms.
The CHALLENGE
TikTok launched a TVC around the “It Starts On TikTok” concept, highlighting the plurality of content available on the platform and enabling anyone to get started with an activity. Emotional films were made to reflect this concept, and now the challenge for The Source was to transpose the original concept through platform-specific functionalities, focusing on 2 verticals: sports and food.
But how can we adapt this TVC concept to social media, while also taking into account best practices on these platforms?
WHAT we've DONE
To meet production constraints, we opted for videos with the same structure, enabling us to pool certain shots. This was an agile way of using a limited number of shots to produce a large number of videos.
We were also careful, through artistic direction, decor, lighting and acting, to capture the essence of the TVC concept with intro shots that contextualize and illustrate the notion of the first time, central to this “It Starts on TikTok” campaign.
Finally, we shoot, with an attentive production team and a great atmosphere, which enabled us to capture those awkward first moments we've all experienced when starting new things. And we did it at the speed of light, with 42 videos produced in the end, with only 1 day of shooting. In fact, our customers even told us it was the 1st time they'd finished a shoot on time!
